The footprints help to avoid moisture build up on the inside of the tents, whilst the puncture proof design means that the footprint will last for as long as the tent. Additionally, it helps keep your tent cleaner by not having outside ground come through into the tent from anywhere but your boots. Each footprint has been carefully designed to fit a certain tent so make sure to pick the one that is for your model.
