School is out, the sun is out (well occasionally up here in Scotland) and the outdoors is calling! If you didn’t already know, we love the outdoors and really believe that spending time outside and connecting to nature is vital to our health and wellbeing. Summer is a great time to put down the tv remote or game controller and get the whole family together for some fun outdoors..
If you’ve read this blog before you’ll know that we are big fans of using wool not only in the winter but during the summer as well. As such, it might not come as a surprise that the sight of staff wearing Aclima LightWool is a regular occurrence around the office here at Nordic Outdoor. Because of this, I thought it would be a good idea to take a closer look at some of those products and offer an insight into why we like them so much.
There are very few better ways to get closer to nature than by camping. Well, you might get closer sleeping under the stars without any equipment, but I live in Scotland and I’m thinking comfort here as well, so camping in a tent is a good compromise. That night time beer also feels even more deserving after you have built your home for the night. Kicking back with a beer and admiring your hard work surrounded by beautiful landscapes is the ultimate outdoor zen. .
