Aclima Headover
The LightWool Headover is a unique garment with 6 different ways of wearing it to keep either you head or neck (or both!) warm and dry. It can be worn in several different ways, to keep either your head, neck or both warm and dry.
Aclima LightWool is made from superfine merino wool quality. The yarn used is only 17.5 micron across and the garment weighs only 130gr/m². This means it's probably the lightest and softest wool product you have ever tried.
Most people know that wool has superior insulating qualities for colder climates, but did you know that merino wool also has a cooling effect when it's warm? You will keep a balanced body temperature as heat from sunrays do not easily enter the garment. LightWool is body odour resistant and treated with Aclima's TEC (Total Easy Care) which means it is machine washable at 40 degrees.
Wool from sheep has kept people warm and dry for more than 5000 years. Aclima’s Merino wool is hand selected by experts in to deliver the ultimate in comfort and performance. A sustainable, renewable fibre, helping both man and sheep to acclimate and effortlessly adjust to changes in the environment. Aclima give away the left-over fabric to for example a company who produces punching balls for boxing. The dye-works they use have closed systems to reduce emission of wastewater, and in addition they work with ISO 14001 (environmental management system). Aclima’s fabrics are dyed to the latest season’s colours and use only dye recipes approved to Oeko-Tex standards.
